Mission Statement:
The Emerald Coast Conservation Effort is a hands-on, volunteer organization dedicated to protecting, preserving and restoring the ecosystems of the western Florida Panhandle through community engagement, public education, and legislative action.
The ECCE seeks to sustain the natural communities of the Gulf Coast by:
• mitigating the negative impacts of development and
industry
• conducting research and scientific investigation to raise awareness
and increase the efficiency of local efforts
• promoting a sustainable future through the adoption of renewable energy
sources
• striving to modify or eliminate wasteful and environmentally destructive
practices
